Our Journey and Inspiration

 

Unic was founded by the determination of a team led by our chief executive officer, Mr. Ebrahim Rehmani, with a vision to change the definition of ride-sharing. Born in Iran, Mr. Ebrahim moved to the UK in 2003 and completed his education, before relocating to Japan in 2005. It was in Japan that his entrepreneurial journey really began. While excelling in the car business, he earned a degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering-skills that laid the bedrock for his ventures to come. Returning to England in 2014, Mr. Ebrahim identified a need for quality ride services. He launched a ride rental business in 2015 that provided comprehensive support to over 50,000 drivers across the UK.
 

The Birth of Unic: A Message from Our CEO

 

The inspiration for the creation of Unic naturally came from Ebrahim's experience in the ride rental business, further influenced by observations of various challenges facing the industry. According to Ebrahim, "Our new public ride app, Unic, intends to create a bridge between drivers and passengers, based on honesty, quality, and reliability.". Drawing inspiration from his experience in Japan, he has developed an app that stands for the highest standards to let each and every user have a safe, smooth, and enjoyable ride. Unic combines state-of-the-art technology with a personal touch in setting a new standard for the transportation industry.
